Washington, D.C. October 17, 2021  Yesterday, we joined fellow advocates and coalition partners in front of the White House to demand that President Biden act in support of the Freedom to Vote Act and John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.

 While protesting for voting rights, five of our allies were arrested:

  Sister Quincy Howard of the Faithful Democracy Coalition;
  Noelle Danica of the Worker’s Circle;
  Reverend Lewis Logan of St. Paul AME Church, Covington, GA;
  Ben Jealous of People For the American Way; and
  Cliff Albright of Black Voters Matter.

 We take inspiration from these brave activists, and promise to return to the White
House as many times as it takes for President Biden to protect and expand the
right to vote.

  In the meantime, we're counting on you to let him know that he must pass federal
voting rights legislation NOW. If you are able, we also greatly appreciate your
financial support, which make actions like the one we took today possible.
