The League of Women Voters of Radnor Township organizes many free events throughout the year, both for our members and the public.
Why it matters
Educating and informing voters, providing non-partisan information, and promoting good government are essential to our democracy. Our local government has a key role in our daily lives, and without civic engagement, many decisions are made without our awareness. Our events are geared towards informing and supporting a thoughtful and engaged electorate.
Please be sure to visit our Events Calendar for upcoming events of interest to the voting public. What we're doing
Since the 1920s, we have been at the forefront of informing voters in Radnor Township and promoting good government. Our approach to local issues is one of problem solving. Our diverse events reflect our deep history and local, state, and national positions of the League (Where We Stand).
One way to get to know us is through some of the meetings we have throughout the year or stopping by our tables promoting voter registration at community events. All members of the public are welcome to join us for these events.
Likewise all our educational programs are open to the public. From time to time we also hold social events We hope to see you at any of these events.
Members are welcome to attend all our General Membership meetings, which are held twice a year, and once a year our annual meeting during which we adopt a state or local program for the year, and to observe at our Board Meetings, held at least nine times a year and open to any Radnor League member. In addition to the business of the Board, these meetings also address special topics relevant to our work.
