Gillian Norris-Szanto
President, Radnor League of Women Voters
Originally from Canada, Gillian is a naturalized American citizen. She was educated in Canada and earned a Ph.D in English Literature from the University of Toronto. She and her family have lived in Radnor Township for the past 40 years. Gillian held positions in development, teaching, and administration at the University of Pennsylvania, Bryn Mawr College, Widener University and the Annenberg Foundation. She served on the boards of the Radnor Memorial Library, the Radnor Education Foundation, and Main Line School Night. The League’s advocacy for the protection of natural resources, open space, and environmental justice first attracted her to the Radnor League. She is delighted to be part of these efforts, and finds that there is a lot to learn and a lot to be done.
